The India vs Pakistan match, which was the most anticipated league game for the ODI World Cup is now set to be pre-scheduled by a day. After consultation between Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), International Cricket Council and BCCI host boards, an agreement was made for a change of schedule. Originally scheduled to occur on 15 October but moved due to it falling on Navaratri (first day).

Reports by ESPNCricinfo indicate that Pakistan have agreed to play India at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on 14 October. The PCB has formed a committee to decide on the final decision regarding Pakistan’s participation at the tournament. However, it is expected that Pakistan will be travelling to India.

Babar Azam’s team will play the Netherlands in their first match on 6 October (per the ODI World Cup Schedule), and India on 15 October. The two arch-rivals are now set to meet the day before.

The PCB, according to ESPNcricinfo, has approved the change. The match will be played at Ahmedabad ,”, claimed in the report.

The revised ODI World Cup Schedule will be released this week.

According to the report, the ODI World Cup schedule will be revised by the end this week. Other alterations will likely take effect, with Pakistan playing Sri Lanka two days earlier; they now face India on 14th October instead.

According to reports, Pakistan vs Sri Lanka will take place on 10 October instead of 12 October as scheduled. There will also be a change as two matches are scheduled for the 14th of October – Bangladesh and New Zealand at Chennai and Afghanistan with England in Delhi. “The second game will be affected and could possibly played earlier (October 13),” claimed the report.
