In a recent Live! episode, Mark Consuelos, his wife Kelly Ripa and The Stars pros Val Chmerkovskiy, and Jenna Johnson Chmerkovskiy, danced together. Mark Consuelos’ attempt to dip Kelly ripped her dress.
The couple continued their routine despite the wardrobe malfunction. Kelly was unfazed and joked about her dress being a “breakaway gown.” Mark assured Kelly that the damage to her dress was minimal and the couple continued dancing.

Mark Consuelos was a co-host on Live! for the second time. With Kelly and Mark he and wife Kelly Ripa had a wardrobe mishap during a Dancing With The Stars dance routine.
This incident occurred after former co-host Ryan Seacrest left the show six years ago. Kelly paid an emotional tribute to Ryan during his final episode. She thanked him for adding authenticity and excellence to the show, and promised that he’d always be part of their family.
She said: “This has been, without a doubt, the fastest six-year period of my life. You and I have known each other for many decades. But I feel as if I gained a younger son or brother through this process. This is how I feel towards you. “I’m grateful that our success in this show has allowed us to develop an even closer, yet codependent relationship.”
She couldn’t help but make fun of Ryan and his “home-brewed coffee” as well as his “satin sheets”. The show will continue with Kelly and Mark in charge despite Ryan’s departure.
At the conclusion of her farewell speech, she gave thanks for all their wonderful, original, and authentic contributions to this show and added, “From all our hearts: thank you from within my own. From within all of ours: never leave us! We promise never will.” We will just say “see you soon” instead. “I love you!”

Live with Kelly & Ryan has undergone a major co-host change. Ryan Seacrest, Kelly Ripa’s co-host on her daytime talkshow for six seasons, announced on air his decision to step away as “tough decision,” yet expressed gratitude at becoming more like family than just friend. Kelly called Ryan a gem, and one of her closest friends.
Ryan will not leave the small screen completely, but he will continue to host American Idol on the West Coast. As the Idol Live shows increase, he will gradually transition away from Live. Ryan has assured fans that he will return to the show as a co-host or guest when possible.
Mark Consuelos will take over the role of co-hosting full-time in his place. Mark Consuelos has been married to Kelly for 27 years. The show will now be called Live with Kelly & Mark. Kelly stressed the importance of continuity on the show and said that Mark was the only person who could carry Ryan’s torch in the same way.
Their love story began in the 1990s on the set All My Children. They now have three children, Michael, Lola and Joaquin. Kelly jokes that the Live family is thrilled about this new chapter.
