Virat Kohli , India’s most feared hitter was treated to a special charter flight by Global Air. The cricketer returned from the West Indies back to India in a specially chartered plane.

India’s One Day International (ODI) team returned home Tuesday following West Indies’ win in three ODI matches between India and themselves.

Kohli, who was part of the squad but did not bat during any matches, has returned home safely from Australia. The rest of players (not many, as they stayed on for the T20I five-match series), will fly back to India by commercial flight.

Virat Kohli did not receive this special treatment. Instead, he booked the charter flight himself. The pictures of the former India Captain traveling on the charter flights are now going viral on social networks. Kohli also owns a private Jet. The picture was shared on Twitter by several users who also expressed their opinions about it. The cricketer was criticized by most of the users and accused of being hypocritical.

Virat Kohli will be back in action after nearly a month

Virat Kohli delighted fans by scoring his 76th International Century in the second Test against West Indies; however, many were left dissatisfied that he did not bat in either of the one day internationals against them and now must wait even longer until 2023 Asia Cup in September to witness him bat again.

Virat Kohli will be in the showpiece event, which features six teams. India will begin their campaign on the 2nd of September against Pakistan in Kandy.

Kohli will be the focus of attention, as ODIs are his preferred format. The 34-year old averages an incredible 57.32 across 275 ODIs. Kohli is on the verge of reaching a number of milestones.
