Milton Wright began his football career at Christian Academy of Louisville where he quickly made an impression as an All-State wide receiver. He played an instrumental role in helping win their class 2A State Title and amassed over 1,000 yards receiving throughout four years — enough for four-star college selection.

Wright began his college career at Purdue in 2019. During his true freshman season, Wright played 11 games and recorded 18 receptions for 288 yards with one touchdown reception. COVID-19 shortening led him to complete six out of the seven scheduled games which resulted in 24 receptions totalling 305 yards with two scores scored by Wright.

Wright had an outstanding 2021 campaign. Starting all 12 games as quarterback and amassing 57 receptions and 732 yards while leading his team with seven touchdowns; earning recognition as fourth team All Big Ten Conference player.

Wright was taken aback to discover he could no longer compete in his college’s senior season and decided instead to enter 2023 NFL Supplemental Draft.

Wright was not selected in the 2023 NFL Supplemental Draft despite an impressive college career containing 99 catches, 1,325 yardage and 10 touchdowns during college.
